How to stay cool in the summer heat

I firmly believe in aroma therapy and utilize in all my treatments. Peppermint oil is on top of my most frequently used oils, along with Lavender. During these hot days - although I am quite aware of the fact that we are blessed with amazing weather compared to other parts of the country - I have my Peppermint oil close at hand. It acts as a natural coolant and smells wonderful. Always use diluted in oil, lotion, shampoo or other form of carrier medium. Here are some ways you can benefit from its refreshing effects:
* Add 2-3 drops to your shampoo, massage into scalp, avoid eye contact, rinse with cool water
* Add 4-5 drops to lotion in palm, massage feet, especially after a long day
* Add 2-3 drops to a small amount of oil (jojoba, almond for example) and apply to temples and neck
The amazing, cooling effect is enhanced by a little breeze, naturally or through fan. Try it out, you will be thrilled! For more ideas contact me through my website or e-mail: akramer8@yahoo.com
